Not for the point that there is some grand plan unfolding (other than God's plan), just that as a legal technicality there are ways to get a person who has not committed the bank robbery.
There is, however, a valid point in "awakening," where bad things have to happen before people notice.
Right now it is borderline criminal to think MAGA. The press and the government have declared this. Some "not MAGA" people notice this, and it actually alarms them. One might say, "awakens" them.

Criminal conspiracy requires more than talk. It requires action, at least one step to advance the plan. That step may itself be legal.
Example, bank robbery plan incldues acquisition of firearms. Acquiring firearms, even legally, to adance the plan to rob the bank is action. It is more than talking about robbing the bank. Without the action, there is no criminal conspiracy, only talk.
People talk much of violent overthrow of the government. This is not a crime.

Sorry but wrong analogy! It’s more like: you can eventually catch a murderer even if it takes many years after the murder occurred. The problem is that it’s of little solace to the loved ones left behind with their loss....we’ve lost the Republic and over the coming years it’ll become obvious to more and more people.
