Rhodesia did it and they survived for awhile...
I’m considering buying a lot of extra coffee, both K-cups and cans. Lots of people love coffee, so it could become a form of currency, just like whiskey was in the time of the Whiskey Rebellion.
That’s basically what the Kulaks were accused of doing.
Two of the main people of UGNazi are currently being held in the Philippines for murder. Whatever is left of the group--even when they were at their full numbers--weren't really a real hacker group. They'd just do scam calls and would pretend to have great hacker abilities, such as by purchasing data from people who actually did the hack and then publishing it as if it were their own.
While the group is obnoxious, they also wouldn't do anything without taking credit for it. Their twitter account has been dead since 2015... back when the first arrests came down for them (it's leader, Mir Islam was in jail at the time). I checked just now and it's dead.
Why would this dead "hacktivist" (they actually just went around vandalizing things and buying stolen credit cards and were too sociopathic to actually have an "activist" angle) group suddenly start messing with the CEO of Parler and not taking credit for it?
Another thing is the allegation that Parler's data was leaked not because of some sophisticated hack, but due to a very basic and simple bug, which some tranny on Twitter is taking credit for finding.
The Conservative Treehouse seems to imply (for other reasons) that Parler was designed to just mine information from Conservatives for the Mercers, not unlike what they were doing on Breitbart for the Ted Cruz campaign.
I have suspicions here that (1) the CEO is lying about UGNazi, (2) Parler was designed to fail to begin with, or designed just to gather information with little regard for the privacy of its users, considering its use of Amazon to host its data, and how shabbily they handled their security.
Of course, for (1), it could just be some random person using the name UGNazi to make threats, but I'm not sure why they would pick a group like that to pretend to be.
