“Certainly he is looking the other way while online platforms are attempting to cancel Trump, just for starters.”

Trump as president was/is a deeply flawed genius.

But easily the worst thing done by him or anyone else with respect to his presidency was the way he was deplatformed at the end by Big Tech.

To cut a POTUS off from his supporters was like a dagger in the heart of democracy.

Do you still think I am a troll?

If you don’t understand Biden, then you don't understand the left. He was silent while Trump was “canceled” by big tech. Given what he did to Robert Bork earlier in his career, magnanimity is both not in his psyche nor is it a word he can pronounce at this point.

The United States is not a democracy; it is a republic. As Woodrow Wilson once wrote, “socialism and democracy are almost, if not quite, one and the same”. And in The Principles of Communism, Engels wrote:
What will be the course of this (communistic) revolution? Above all, it will establish a democratic constitution, and through this, the direct or indirect dominance of the proletariat. […]

In America, where a democratic constitution has already been established, the communists must make the common cause with the party which will turn this constitution against the bourgeoisie and use it in the interests of the proletariat—that is, with the agrarian National Reformers. …
However, the Constitution as written was not as democratic as the left would have liked; hence the introduction (or imposition, if history is scrutinized) of Amendments 16 (which instituted the income tax, concurrent with the second plank of communism, “A heavy progressive or graduated income tax”) and 17 (which destroyed the representation of state governments in the federal government by making Senators directly elected; instead, the Senators became beholden to lobbies).

So with this understanding of democracy per se, if you take anything away from your time on this forum, I hope it is the reason why patriotic Americans have disdain for democracy and the differences between democracy and republicanism.
