They want to make DC a state for the additional dem seats and votes. Also, there is no longer a fear of voter disapproval since they now control the election process.
I got a deal. Texas will get out of feral government and the other 49 bitches are welcomed to add DC as the 50 th state.
That way the flag and other documents would not have to be updated and Texas would once again stand with its head held high among the nations. Effin win win in my book.

Been thinking about this. I think the two can be reconciled. DC becomes a state. To stay within constitutional mandates the federal government must move immediately to Guam along with all department headquarters and their employees.

DC should be split between West Virginia & Maryland. That is the fairest option.
The founders of the Constitution knew what they were doing. The federal district was deliberately NOT to be a state. It was explicitly designated as NOT a state so that no state would effectively control the federal government.
