Yes, I figured you were making a point about where the certain folks were on that day and how they happened to not be there when it appeared that the Capitol and other installations might be under attack. The cell phone law issue confused me...were you referring to laws passed before or after the 9/11 attacks? Also I’m not sure if the cell phone rules are more FAA regs as opposed to direct congressional laws.
Immediately after, banning the use of cell phone on commercial airlines was darn near congress’ first order of business!
