Corporate America was approvingly woke when leftist Antifa and Black Lives Matter (BLM) activists rioted for several months. But businesses feign righteous indignation when people from the other side of the political aisle decide to engage in the same dangerous tactics for a day.
Many companies, like Ben & Jerry’s, Chevron, The Coca-Cola Company and The Walt Disney Company, took to Twitter to express their “outrage” at the events that transpired on Capitol Hill Jan. 6. This newfound outrage begs the question: Where was all this holy corporate fury when areas in cities ranging from New York City to Seattle and Chicago to Minneapolis and Portland were all set on fire throughout 2020? Even Washington, D.C was the scene of leftist rioting, but the reactions were far different.

Hell - they supported AND encouraged them!
The only thing they “downplayed” (more like buried) was the violence and destruction and looting.
Just this morning on the local news they were trumpeting about how “safe” the city is now because they’ve got crime under control again. As if the crime and the riots and ACAB and cop defunding aren’t entertwined.
But, yknow - that was soooo LAST year!
The truth is so racist.
Would a white supremacist state allow corporations to hold seminars attacking white privilege, allowing people to make millions of dollars in speaking fees from it?
It is obviously fake, the inverse is true.
Quicker to list those that haven’t.
After putting up with the brain dead libs around me screaming that the police KILLED Floyd I took the time to watch the (about) one hour long police body cam and then read the autopsy report. Both prove to me that this was a case of massive drug overdose and nothing more.
Another day in the ghetto for the guys in blue who get to deal with the dredges of society but in this case the ‘movement’ needed a martyr so Floyd it was. Nice work if you can get it!
Corporate America for the most part are whores yes you do get screwed.
I did the same. I think he had a heart attack. He had a 90% occlusion in his right coronary artery. That might be enough blood supply for 60-80 beats per minute but he started having a panic attack and his heart rate was certainly double that. That’s why he started having shortness of breath in the back of the squad car. I have seen plenty of heart attacks and plenty of opiate overdoses. Opiate overdoses don’t look like that but heart attacks do.
