Well, that explains my email box getting hit with “Please install our Twitter app” and “Please come back to Twitter” and “Look at all the cool Twitter stuff” subject lines. And I haven’t used my Twitter account in 12 years! lol

And all the businesses, organizations, groups that have a presence on Twitter — celebrities, etc. — will no longer get exposure via this platform. May not be worth it to them in the long run to stay put.

Just give it time ....they’ll begin to feel the weight of the drop off.

I’m not missing it. Was really more just another waste of time click to begin with. I’m glad to get a few minutes of my life back, honestly. Other than Trump’s tweets ...who cares?

You cannot deactivate Twitter from their app. Go to Twitter.com and follow the instructions that are available many places on the internet. That’s what I did and it worked. No more Twitter for me. Never.

At last, some good news. The big boys don’t like it when the “little people” fight back. I hope Twitter continues to plummet to where is should be - zero, and that it is joined in the bargain basement by other Big Tech Overlords. In my opinion, Twitter and these other monopolists have abused their Section 230 immunity to de-platform people and groups with whom they disagree. Now, those who have been unfairly targeted and rendered non-persons, joined by those who still think the First Amendment is a foundational block of our Republic, have said Enough!

I agree that is a good start. Now I hope that Facebook, and others loose their shirt. I for one believe in freedom of speech. While I despise CNN, I do support their ability to spread biased garbage if they can find advertisers willing to sponsor such nonsense.

This country is becoming way too “politically correct,” “woke,” and the “thought police” are running rampant. This is an escalating trend that I hope finally runs its course and reverses.

I am appalled by the hatred against Trump.
