Gen. Flynn does not come across as somebody pushing completely crack pot conspiracy theory. There was no hint on his assertion, let alone a report. Now this allegation comes along. One may speculate that this allegation of Italian connection has something to do with his assertion. The whole thing is murky.
I wonder what intelligence organization he was referring to. Essentially it could be any organization of allies, neutral countries, or even adversaries. Of all the speculation and reports flying around in alternative media on Internet, there was nothing on his assertion.
Why did he link to this story on his social media account? Was he misled or was it a hint meant for somebody whether it is true or not?
