RE: You Can’t Impeach a Private Citizen After He Leaves Office

The purpose of impeachment is to remove Trump and prevent him from EVER taking public office of any kind again.

QUESTION: Can an impeached President ever be elected for public office of any kind?

SECOND QUESTION: Can Congress, After Trump leaves office, pass a law specifically saying “Donald Trump is Hereby Banned from any public office in the future”?

Conviction for removal is 2/3 and must be done while he is in office.

Barrier to future office is majority vote and can only be done after conviction for removal.

Barring a private citizen from holding office is unconstitutional.
