There are no timing limitations on the use of the Impeachment process in the Constitution. So there is no limit in the Constitution for impeaching someone after they have left office. There are Senate and House rules regarding impeachment but rules can be changed with a majority vote.

The Constitution doesn't grant Congress the power to impeach a private citizen.

And it would look pretty stupid trying to remove somebody from an office that they don't hold.

LOL.

Looking stupid is NOT on what passes for a Dimmocommie mind. Low IQ channeled by indoctrination and just plain ignorance cannot be expected to generate logic. If Dimmocommies respected the Constitution, Omar would have been removed from Congress and sent back to Somalia for her numerous (including Federal crimes). Swalwell, caught dead to rights in a relationship with a known Chinese spy, has actually been promoted to another Senate committee instead of being kicked out of office and jailed for espionage.

Everything we "know" as the American way of life has just been cancelled by this coup performed jointly by the media, 95% of Congress, China & other foreign enemies, Dominion, and strategically paid off governors, secretaries of state, mayors, etc. in concert with the enemedia, traitors ALL.

I think you might be mistaken. The Constitution grants the House of Representatives the power to impeach “the President Vice President, and all federal civil officers...” After January 20 at noon it looks like someone else (spit) will be the President...

1) removal from office is not the only possible punishment
2) Impeachment proceedings can be applied to any officer of the US
3) It would also look very stupid to rig an election by blatantly adding thousands of votes. But here we are.

When the Constitution is relegated to a recommendation and is not the supreme law of the land, anything goes.
