Good post, Uncle Miltie. That is indeed the issue. The vast, vast, vast number of gunowners are remarkably peaceful. Most do not want innocents hurt.
Paradoxically, many of my leftwinger friends and acquaintances have become unhinged and now utterly frothing-at-the-mouth.

They are very openly promoting violence towards President Trump and his supporters. No societal filters in place about their seething.
My concern is that the most peaceful segment of our society are who are being potentially harassed. I truly do not know where each person has a "line in the sand" on how he or she will behave. Very tough scenario.

Don't forget the H.R.838 - Threat Assessment, Prevention, and Safety Act of 2019, passed by the House last year but the Senate never voted on it. One of the VERY few things I give McConnell credit for - - he never even let it be brought up for debate. Many Republicans co-sponsored this piece of crap and it was introduced by one - - Brian Babin, from TX.

I don't know if they have to start over or if the new Senate can go ahead and vote on it but either way, it'll pass. Red Flag Law on steroids. *spit*
