Eff all of them.
I will no longer explain myself to them - don’t like me because of my political opinions?
Screw.
Life’s too short. Get out of my life.
That’s pretty much how a lot of us feel.
I have no National Socialist friends. Zero.
I have no “Democratic” Socialist friends. Zero.
I have no pedophile friends. Zero.
It is getting increasingly hard to tolerate former friends on the political left.
Anyone I thought of as a friend who subscribes to evil and cannot be reasoned out of that position is not someone I want in my life.
I lost a friend of over 50 years. This year... Becausehe doesn’t like Trump and his wife does and they argued fiercely and went I o marriage council ing. His wife saw an image of a Trump Flagg on my F B page and he blamed me because he had to do marriage counciling
I feel your pain. I lost a cousin this past summer when he posted to the Twitter verse that he hoped all Trump voters would die of COVID. When the rest of his family called him on it, he stood by his sentiment. I think he even cut off his sister.
Libs are well connected in their goal for socialism. Conservatives are oftentimes with their nature more reserved and thus less connected. We need to be more connected, have infrastructure so they can’t censure, support ect other so when they try and destroy our businesses we would already be supporting each other. Just like how it seems that big tech only hires their own. And of course grow conservative friendships.
I used to say that liberalism was a mental disease. While I still believe that, I also now have become acutely aware that it is also a demonic power emanating directly from the pits of hell. This is not hyperbole.
Personally, we tried to keep a friendship going with liberals for years. They also are not Christians. So, after Trump, we thank him for the decrease in stress from having to endure their posts!! When they cheer bad things that happen like the Islamic ladies did on 09/11/01, it made me sick to my stomach. So, I’ll let them keep their pro-choice, homosexual, anti-Christian politics!
I have a liberal friend who rarely, if ever, talks politics publicly on social media. Neither do I. We’ve always gotten along fairly well due to shared interests and we haven’t really talked politics privately much. When we have, we either agreed (he’s not a fan of SJWs ruining entertainment) or agreed to disagree. I made the mistake of looking at his “likes” this past week and... well, I don’t get offended very easily and I was offended. I may have to distance myself a little. I’m even considering leaving social media altogether and going back to hobbies/interest based forums.
A friend of mine was complaining the other day that he had lost a lot of friends over the election. I said I don’t have to worry about that......I have 4 friends and they’re all like me. Lol
Friendships end for a lot of reasons. This is as good as any reason, and better than some. I eliminated one friend whom I had known for thirty years but hadn’t seen in person for a while — only on FB. I got tired of his disrespect for my political and religious beliefs. We used to have good discussions about things, but he had become so far out there that I just didn’t need his crap any more.
I didn’t lose any friends.
I gained a little wisdom and insight though =)
well we have relatives galore that are stinking leftists but we don’t see them all that much because of distance....our friends are “our” people....
have to ask though.....why were you ever friends with someone who would wear a “vagina” hat?....
Lefties of any stripe are not your friends. Theirs is a ghoulish ideology.
I’ve got 5 friends, leftists/liberals ain’t none of them.
Yeah, I have no Democrat friends left (but, in truth, they were few and far between anyway; but we’d known each other for decades). I’ll be cordial if we ever run into each other, but that is unlikely because we don’t run in the same circles.
That said, encourage your family members and close friends to sign off and deactivate their accounts on Facebook and Twitter because it encourages divisiveness. (They silence Conservative voices as well, but that's another topic)
You’re absolutely right. (See my tagline.)
