I disagree. The Dems antipathy toward the 2nd Amendment is more symbolic than anything else. Its a red meat issue for their radical base. The reality is they own the system, and that includes the courts, law enforcement, and all of the national guards.
They sleep well at night knowing they will be well protected against any would be hostile elements, which is in actuality is a non-existent threat as in general most Americans abhor violence (except on TV).
Besides the vast majority of responsible Americans have far too much to lose by the use of firearms against anyone. It just isn’t going to happen. Heck, most Americans won’t even put down the remote control and get off the couch to protest against tyranny. We are a passive lot these days.
The country has changed demographically, culturally and morally. The spirit of freedom that once animated Americans is no longer in vogue or cherished. Its all about bread and circuses nowadays.
Notice that the hatred of these jackals are really their hatred of you and I - the American People.
These jackals not only hate America, they hate the American People. When you see their visceral hatred of Trump, realize Trump is only the symbol of their visceral hatred of you and I, the American people.
They hate that you eat at Olive Garden, and stay at the Hilton Garden Inn . . . such deplorable behavior of us all.
