One advantage the Mini-14 has over the AR-15 is; the AR-15 will likely be put on the Dems ban list. The Mini-14 perhaps not.

Mini14 has a way of not being on ban lists though.

correct. Mini-14 mags are very expensive, accuracy of the platform sub-par for 5.56 (many can’t shoot 5.56 pressures anyway). Cool gun, not what I’d grab for many reasons.

i like the looks of the Mini better than the AR but you are right. Accuracy has always been an issue with the Mini even after Ruger made some modifications, then there is non-factory magazine reliability issues. On top of that the 30 apparently does not fire steel case ammo in 7.62 very well due to Berdan primers or some such. Sad, really.
