You ever shoot that Mossberg pistol grip? I shot one once....once. Very hard to control when firing. I’d suggest picking up a full stock for it just for the heck of it.
I ended up with 500 rounds of slugs. That is the gun I’ll use to shoot them. I don’t want to blow out a shoulder with the Remington.
I should also mention that it does have a full stock AND a pistol grip similar to the Remington police pump one pictured in the article. I didn’t make that very clear.
My dad never fired the gun. It was still in the box with the receipt. Same goes for all the other guns I acquired from him with the exception of the 1022. I’m setting up a permanent shooting range on the property against one of the knobs and will give it a try. I need the pistol grip to control what I’ve heard is an amazing kick from the slugs.
