What fight was there to be had? The Electoral College met and elected Joe Biden as President. We knew that a month ago. Reality stinks, but reality is still what it is. The day before they were dealt a blow of losing two Senate seats...not an indication they had momentum on their side. Even if every single Republican was on board 100%, the Dem controlled House would have never voted to reject Biden's Electors. It was an effort in futility, and the waste of energy and focus on it helped cost us 2 US Senate seats.
Trump's campaign was horribly run and underfunded in the final stretch, while Biden's team ran one of the most aggressive and effective campaigns in modern history. If fraud truly determined the election, it was only close enough due to the pitiful effort of Trump's campaign team in allowing Biden complete, total control over the campaign narrative - Biden defined himself, not Trump, and Biden defined the issues and the narrative, not Trump. Trump's campaign team did not even attempt to compete with that messaging and allowed Biden free reign over the country. Reality is a harsh teacher, but that is reality. We can't pretend that didn't happen. Biden was physically in his basement, but his campaign team put him in the living room of every American, nationwide, every day, defining himself and the issues without any response or competing message on many media outlets. This race was lost back in September. Trump was personally very aggressive in his retail politics and this was very effective in its own right, but his campaign team did not respond to the Biden campaign strategy. And that has very real consequences.
Trump won 19 of 20 bellwether counties. The democrats took the approach that they only needed to rig the elections in a handful of states to swing the electoral vote. The evidence points to it being irrelevant how close it was before they'd implement their fraudulent tactics. They had the systems in place for however many votes were needed to add to Biden or subtract from Trump. Whatever they needed, they could come up with, and they'd keep counting until they came up with them. They picked enough states to rig the elections in that any one single state wouldn't change the outcome, to help take the fight out of the Republicans fighting the fraud.
