January 21 ,2021 they will begin work on that in earnest. They got one yesterday[January 6, 2021] and members of Free Republic cheered them on. Political parties are only effective if they are able to sway voters and get those voters to the polls on election day. Money for advertising has taken the place of boots on the ground for the Republicans. The Democrats still have boots on the ground in addition to money for advertising.

Just form a precinct organization, meet socially on a regular basis and between elections take on projects to help the community. Don’t use your time and effort allowing yourself to be used by people with any record for disenfranchising deplorables or anyone else, help people who need help and learn to do outreach and stick together. Community, you know?

As long as the parties are beholden to money, money will rule the parties.

I actually canceled my voter registration (formally unaffiliated) right after the election. Until we can vote exclusively in person, on election day with a valid ID, it’s just a waste of time and irritating. We need to follow the lead of other third world countries around the world.
