Why was that illegal?
Because it is the UK and they do not have freedom.
From the article:
“Almost all of the emergency Nightingale hospitals that were built at a cost of £220million to handle overflow COVID patients were never used and are now being dismantled.”
So, the Brits built these extra hospitals and are dismantling them in less of a year?
Nothing like exposing the truth of the “glories of socialized medicine” and the fact that Covid hasn’t overwhelmed anything to get one arrested - when Truth is anathema, this is the result.
Probably “got her” for “criminal trespass” which, in socialism means “Being inconvenient to your betters”
If you Google “Empty hospital during Covid” youtube videos will appear. But all are blocked!!!!
That’s right. They don’t have a Bill of Rights. They are subjects not citizens.
Evidently, they do not have freedom in California either, just ask Project Veritas.
Hospitals aren’t for patients, they are for hiring staff !
There was a “Yes Minister” episode that explained all this.
Trespass is illegal here as well.
How can she be trespassing in a public hospital in which she was legally allowed?
I don’t know if she was legally allowed or not, and I don’t know if filming in a UK hospital without permission is legal or not.
If you enter MY hospital and start taking video, you’re getting arrested, without a doubt.
On what charges?
When are the Brits going to wake up?
We have the Bill of Rights, for all the difference it makes these days.
My county was supposedly overwhelmed with COVID in May. Everything locked down. Had to take my son to the ER. Walked right in. Empty. Seriously the lights were out and no one was in the waiting area. Got triaged immediately and taken back where he was one of two patients in the ER. The other was a pregnant woman who had overdosed. The staff was deciding about lunch. We were in and out in under two hours including lab work, an x ray and CT Scan. Doctor saw us within ten minutes of getting the bed. When I asked, the doctor rolled her eyes and said it was quiet and nothing going on out of the norm. You don’t know who to believe.

“My county was supposedly overwhelmed with COVID in May.”
Translation: it was overwhelmed with the flu. They’ve just been lumping in all respiratory illnesses in the “COVID” category, as we have now found out.
Why do you complain that Parler “censors” you but then you censor yourself here, where you post for free?

The woman expressed shock at how quiet the hospital was, saying she expected there to be “a few more people around, there’s absolutely nobody.”

According to reports, a 46-year-old woman was subsequently arrested by police for filming the video and has been charged on suspicion of a public order offence.
“The woman has been bailed to return to police on 21 January, with conditions that she cannot enter any NHS premises or the grounds of any such premises, unless in the case of an emergency or to attend a pre-arranged NHS appointment,” said a statement by Gloucestershire Police.
While the footage shows the inside of the hospital to be virtually empty, UK health authorities have continually asserted that the NHS is at risk of being “overwhelmed” as a result of rising COVID-19 infections.
NHS England says that there are now more COVID-19 patients in hospitals than there were during the April peak of the first wave.
However, public data shows that hospitals are indeed emptier than at this time last year, with beds being at 89% occupancy compared to 95% occupancy in December 2019.
In regions across the country, critical care occupancy rates are also lower than the 3 year average.
Almost all of the emergency Nightingale hospitals that were built at a cost of £220million to handle overflow COVID patients were never used and are now being dismantled.
Many have also questioned why nurses have had time to perform carefully rehearsed and choreographed dances for social media clout, with family members of cancer victims who have been denied treatment complaining about their insensitivity.
