Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) said his family was targeted by Antifa vandals and protesters late Monday evening.
Video shows protesters approaching the family’s front door as Hawley’s wife and newborn baby were reportedly inside.
“Tonight while I was in Missouri, Antifa scumbags came to our place in DC and threatened my wife and newborn daughter, who can’t travel,” Hawley tweeted.
“They screamed threats, vandalized, and tried to pound open our door,” he continued. “Let me be clear: My family [and] I will not be intimidated by leftwing violence.”

If they were pounding on my front door and there was disparity of force, where the people inside the house were put in fear of death or serious bodily injury? That’s a different story.
Well, after watching the video, using a second floor window the idiot with the bullhorn would be the first shot because he is actually standing in the driveway and ON PRIVATE PROPERTY. The four morons at the front door would be next to be dropped BEFORE they were able to leave PRIVATE PROPERTY. The smart ones in the street are safe unless they step on PRIVATE PROPERTY to recover their dead friends. Just my opinion. No real threat from morons in the street. Once they enter PRIVATE PROPERTY, ALL BETS ARE OFF.
They are not 'clowns' in any sense of the term. They are rioters on private property, attempting to damage private property and clearly putting the inhabitants of the residence IN FEAR OF THEIR LIVES. Their conduct does not constitute peaceful assembly within the meaning of the 1st Amendment. In such circumstances, the perps have made themselves subject to the use of lethal force.
Time to take some names and numbers and thump some heads.
the DC cops and now National Guard will be sure to protect the Antifa/Black Lies Matter crowd, but won’t protect a member of congress, how pathetic, and not surprising in the least.
