I had to stop at my local target a few weeks ago. When I walked in I just grabbed a basket by the door and kept walking, but was chased into the store by a employee with a bottle of spray sanitizer and some paper towels saying they were supposed to wipe down the basket for me first before I took it. I refused and they kept following me. I then asked them if they are so concerned why don’t you sanitize them after you collect them before you put a new stack out by the doors.
They said they did, but had to stand by the doors to watch you sanitize them so you would feel safe. I simply laughed and walked away, much to the chagrin in whore of the idiot door watcher.
By now, most stores have learned to leave me alone.
Once in a while, I get a real karen up my face and I ask them what they think the constant exposure to toxic cleaner spray is doing to their lungs.
I ask them if they’ve read the labels on the crap they’re snorting by the gallon, every day.
That makes them look worried.
Good.
