Not soon enough!
Will be in Atlanta this weekend. When I was there in November, post general election - you could not avoid back-to-back-to-back airings of commercials. Unbelievable frequency. The television stations in Atlanta, Savannah, Macon, Jacksonville, Chattanooga, and who knows where else, are making more money than ever with this. Short-term buys are “top of the rate card”, and they are saturating the market so well that they are buying on out of state stations with signals that bleed into the margins of Georgia.
I think Loeffler has the easier race, I would expect her to win. Ossoff is a strange animal, I cannot believe he polls so well or was so strong against Handal. He is like a tabula rasa - and all the money is used to paint him this way or that. His personal story is very unconvincing, He has not done much, he has not demonstrated particular capacity or special insight. He’s kind of a “Mayor Pete”-lite.
