I’m afraid that the GOP is TIRED of “winning”

The GOP members will enjoy the new wave of winning: lots of pork in bills, the ability to point fingers and cry that the Democrats aren't playing nice, and the reunification of the uniparty.

Average Americans, we are just a nuisance to them.

Dorothy said it another way, but the sentiments are still the same: "(some) people at FR 'come and go so quickly'". In other words, they are "fair weather" friends. You think you're speaking the truth, but you're just that - "fair weather" friends. Sorry to be so mean.

So far there are no GOP Senators that will object.

Wait until after January 5th...

We’ll see who’s right.

Pence does not strike one as a “go out on a limb” kind of guy.

It has to be an open question as to whether we will witness a singular act of political bravery on Pence’s part come January 6, or whether we will see Trump abandoned on the field of battle like the Braveheart/William Wallace character in the wake of the Scottish noblemen, who previously supported Wallace, secretly negotiating with Longshanks for a separate peace.

Nah, thick skin, expect Freepers who disagree to be mean - your just a bunch of pixels on a computer screen, not the guy next door - that might be different.

Nah! Your eyes are brown! Pence’s son is a proud commissioned officer in the USMC. Pence will NOT pull a trick like that and forever shame his son. When the chips are down, Pence will come through for us.

I'm sincerely hoping this will be the case. I watched Pence's speech at the TPUSA SAS last week. Why would he stand up there and say what he said, only to turn around and stab us all in the back by letting this slide by? I mean, why go and address the conference at all, if he never had any intention of doing anything?

I read that there are two senators, at least, but they aren’t releasing their names for obvious reasons. We’ll have to wait to find out.

Your post is spot on - even IF we get at least one Senator and one House member to object to the electors for a particular state, that only starts a second process that will never in a million years produce the result any of us want..

Once an objection has been filed, both the House and Senate go into debate (separately). Both the House and Senate must then come to the same conclusion and AGREE to throw out or overturn the slate of certified electors for a given state.

Obviously, that will never happen under any circumstance. (Does anyone here think Nancy will tell her caucus to throw out certified electors for Biden? If so..SERIOUSLY?)

Since the House and Senate will NEVER agree, even IF we get a Senator AND a House Rep to object, all this talk about some 11th hour miracle via “alternate objectors” is regrettably nothing but a load of hooey being put out by blogs and websites who are looking to drive clicks - or worse, looking to grift those of us still looking for a miracle save..

Yes the House has to vote to throw out electors. Not the point.

The point is to shit in Biden's nest, to pin the illegitimacy of the puppet-state coup on his lapel.

If Brooks and Tuberville want to play out this string, they can object to each state's slate of presented Electors and force as many as 51 full 2-hour recesses, and compel voting on each successful Objection.

They. can. compel. There is nothing Pence or Turtle can do about it.

A plan to maximize these rule-of-order recesses to illegitimatize the puppet-state installation. That means hitting the cameras each time with specific allegations of fraud for each state they Object to.

So a successful strategy would be to drag the event into the evening news and force it to be covered live. PA, GA, MI as the triad of electoral fraud, would accomplish that task.

I am of the opinion that if a single GOP Senator signs and objects, they will be a hero to the conservative base.
