No— my interests in sci-fi reside with Heinlein and other writers. Star Trek has some great early episodes written by some of them, Harlan Ellison for example. Thoughtful, well written— and Shatner occasionally ok.

Star Wars have not kept up with, having zero time for all the peregrination's of marketing— the abuses of Hollywood never answered for abysmal writing.
