Yeah, it was a different era. Respect for everyone. Worked beside each other in the factories. Lots of terrific families. I grew up in Lincoln Park touching the southwest border of Detroit. Detroit was home to many, many friends and relatives. Sheesh those were some fabulous days in my youth playing sports against other kids in other communities. It can bring tears to my eyes when I think about it. I have a memory that amazes my family. I can remember things from 2 & 3 years old. It’s crazy. I can remember details that I cannot believe that I can remember. Vivid details.
I don’t know if its related, but I stopped watching television about 8+ years ago and quit radio shortly thereafter.
