I am asking this because I am genuinely curious. How does someone know at this point whether a voter had proper ID? How is he able to quantify it. And what are receipts?
I haven’t seen the records, so I can’t say for sure.
But when you go to vote in Michigan, you give them your ID, and they check you on their list. If you do not have an ID, you’re supposed to sign a sworn affidavit. Presumably, when you hand them your ID, there’s a checkmark on their list that they select to indicate that ID or affidavit was used. If neither was checked, then there’s chicanery afoot.
