LOL!
I see Jim Hoft on twitter too where he over sells everything.
Other GP writers are much better then Jim.
I don’t live in a political / factional bubble - I’m surrounded by mostly “don’t much care either way” folks.
If it were proved that the machines were all open to massive abuse or external influence most of the “don’t care” would say we have four years to fix that issue properly and it’s not something for just POTUS to work on.
They are less interested in who’s president so long as the 2024 election is using a secure platform and procedures that are the same nationwide to eliminate wilful manipulation of the rules by either side. They reckon blue states rig it for the dem candidate, red states know postal votes go dem more than GOP and so wil look for any excuse to dismiss them.
This position is backed up by petition responses. Support for Trump is less than support for Biden, but support for a full and thorough overhaul of the electoral system after a full post-mortem of this Nov-Jan period is larger than both.
different, “better” lawyers would not have changed a thing.
The courts, including SCOTUS, are not letting evidence in the door
But people in the so-called free states aren’t really free. I’m sure there’s been voter fraud there as well. And whatever the federal government deems right, they will have to follow. We moved from California to Tennessee, and obviously we will have a bit more freedom because of state taxes being lower, state laws been better. But whatever changes Biden makes, it will affect us still. And then the whole country goes to communism we won’t be able to avoid it.
Who’s in?
Sorry, but please explain what good that will accomplish. Trump's methods are a lot like some of his picks, useless, or worse, detrimental to the MAGA goal he established.
Trump is a visionary, but apparently, he lacks a particular ability to think strategically, though admittedly, I lack a complete understanding of his multi-dimensional chess moves.
Calling for supporters to travel to a confined area in the middle of winter where TPTB can quickly corral them, not to mention that they could become snowbound and trapped without proper accommodations, or worse, catch some dreaded disease, isn't a wise plan, IMHO.
We need ACTION alright, but action that will yield results. Otherwise, we're only going to LOSE another round to those who are unencumbered by civility or morals.
As others suggest, POTUS needs to take some sort of well thought out, formal and aggressive action related to these voting irregularities well within his powers to do so. All he has to do is say the word. We will back him; even many on the other side will support him because of the blatant vote stealing.
If Trump wants his supporters to take action, then coordinate some effort to get results, like shutting down the nation until we get an agreement for a voting do-over in the swing states, or something similar.
How exactly will the democrats pay?
And how many court cases have we won as a result of getting that $200M?
The $200M also has done zip, zero, nodda in Trump remaining POTUS after 1/20.
I believe the President missed an opportunity.
Instead of this message, he should have indicated that Martial Law will be only declared in the case of riots, regardless if they are related to the election or not.
I have no faith in the party either. They’ve been been back stabbing Trump every chance they get.
Partly because very little was actually spent on that effort.
Makes you wonder what the real goal of all this is.
They’ll lose the House and many governorships. Remember what happened to the Democrats when Obama was in power. Meanwhile the Democrat’s culture of death is in freefall collapse. I remain optimistic despite man’s fallen nature. The US Constitution will stand.
“ Sorry, but please explain what good that will accomplish.”
Certainly, though you should know this already.
Government and Justices notice when the public is behind something and care enough to show up. It’s very different than just bitching about things online.
The line that “more than 74 million Americans think the election was fraudulent” only gets so much traction. When you take the time & trouble to make a personal appearance it’s harder to ignore.
They will lose nothing. They’ve perfected their cheating, and the system has shown itself unwilling to stop them. They’ll cheat harder next time.
So give us your options on what you think is going on, how about?
My guess is that you’ll say Trump is just fleecing his supporters for some travel/lifestyle funding to use after he leaves office.
I’m not that cynical, but I don’t think Trump has fought this near as hard as he could have, or near as hard as his supporters would have liked. Not one real rally appearance (and there have been several rallies protesting election fraud), except for the one he had actually encouraging people to vote in the Senate runoff under the same bogus rules in Georgia. That was still a great night, but it has been the only one like it, for some strange reason.
I watch the Jay Sekulow almost daily, who I’ve watched slowly lose interest as well, especially once the Texas suit was lost, which Trump really had nothing to do with. Trump will hopefully still win, but he’s left most of his best weapons, including himself, on the sidelines.
Sure does!
I know it's not popular to say, but I just don't see Trump expending the type of effort one would expect given the circumstances here. Eg: as you pointed out, why hasn't a good chunk of that $200M gone to pay for "top notch" legal experts to challenge these "irregularities" (OK, out and out fraud) PROPERLY in Court? Instead, we get these half baked efforts by a grand total of..2 lawyers (Rudy & Jenna).
Something just doesn't add up..the left has accused the fundraising drive to "combat election fraud" as a grift. Kinda makes one wonder..
We wouldn't want the MSM broadcasting images of what a mess was left behind.
If this is our only plan, protesting on the day of the vote, I elect to stay home and stack MREs.
/sarc
I wouldn't characterize it as fleecing, just garden variety politics. No good operative would let this opportunity slip away and the fact that the RNC is getting a cut of the money shows it's about a lot more than any legal fight.
I don't think Trump wants the money to fund his lifestyle per se, but I think maintaining a base and having an opportunity to be relevant once he's out of office is the most important thing to him.
