More deep staters
Well, this gets interestinger and interestinger.
TGP quoting Newsmax:
“There is no role for the U.S. military in determining the outcome of an American election,” Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy and Army chief of staff Gen. James McConville wrote in a joint statement Friday.
The statement echoed one by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley before the election.”
And here is Milley’s statement from before the election... hmm, an “off the record” call, TGP says sourse is Newsmax which says source is Axios. If generals under Trump are saying this kind of crap to Axios, I hope they all get fired asap. Hmm, says “no role in “peaceful transfer of power”. Well, there won’t be an “transfer” of power. More hmms. And Axios wasn’t on the call. And Gen. Paul Nakasone was (supposedly) on the call.
Scoop: Generals privately brief news anchors, promise no military role in election
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley held an off-the-record video call with top generals and network anchors this weekend to tamp down speculation about potential military involvement in the presidential election, two people familiar with the call tell Axios.
Why it matters: The nation’s top military official set up Saturday’s highly unusual call to make clear that the military’s role is apolitical, one of the sources said — and to dispel any notion of a role for the military in adjudicating a disputed election or making any decision around removing a president from the White House.
Milley told the anchors that the U.S. military would have no role whatsoever in a peaceful transfer of power, one source added.
One official told the anchors not to be alarmed if they see images of uniformed National Guard members on Election Day; currently, they are not federalized but serving at the request of governors.
Through a spokesperson, Milley and the other generals declined comment.
Axios did not participate in the call and is not a party to the off-the-record agreement.
ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, CBS’ Norah O’Donnell, NBC’s Lester Holt, CNN’s Jim Sciutto and Fox’s Martha MacCallum participated, per one of the sources.

Yes, he does.
Yes, I know... my bad. I used Marshall mistakenly after I wrote about the Insurrection Act 1807 and Chief Justice John Marshall of the US Supreme Court and the acquittal of Aaron Burr treason trial.
There are various sections in the Insurrection Act. I see two that fit. Just the sancturary state crap is one, and the voter theft is another.

Frag. Frag. Frag.
So they won’t interfere if we do it then, right? Is that what they’re saying?

https://themarshallreport.wordpress.com/2020/11/21/trump-prepared-special-operations-now-report-directly-to-secretary-of-defense
Trump fired Secretary of Defense Mark Esper on November 9, 2020 and appointed Christopher Miller to take his place, then continued moving special forces and chains of command to respond in alignment to a wartime agenda.
