Lin is one of the best libel and defamation lawyers in the country. And this is certainly the most important case he has ever handled (though he isn't handling the entire case).

ALL of his lawsuits have fallen flat, he hasn't gotten traction on anything. His "tactics" have been a failure.

This seems more like desperation than competence.

The guy is a nutball lawyer looking for his 15 min of fame. He really hasn’t done anything except talk. And the other lawyer Powell isn’t much better. Both are a waste of time.
