No matter what happens in this election, I WILL NEVER vote for another Bush or Bush relative or Bush friend and add on any RINO. I used to think George P Bush would make a great President or Governor. Nope. Not voting for him either, even in Texas elections.
I lost a college friend from 40 years ago last night. She did not die. She asked me questions about what I thought Biden would do that made he unable to just go along with his inevitable Presidency. I told her specifics. I asked her what he would do good as President. She laughed and said she didn’t know he wasn’t President yet. No. I played your game, now you play it back. I Want to know anything that you think this man will do. She laughing and mockingly talked about “all you Trump followers are the same, give the man a chance”. No. I hung up. To her I was not a friend but a Trump follower who could be laughingly mocked. The irony is my husband and I have worked hard for our entire lives and still do. She made some bad life and drug choices and is disabled for most of her life. She lives well on total disability. But to her my choice of Trump is all about saving money on taxes.
2022 is going to be a disaster for the GOP.

I have experienced the same thing, only it was pre-0blama era regarding my voting for President Bush. I showed up to a holiday gathering where all guests had been warned I was a Leper I mean Conservative in advance... instead if the fact that I was a close family friend & godmother to her youngest. I couldn’t believe it, and was so hurt that this “open-minded, acceping” left-wing “seeker” of wisdom was actually close-minded, judgemental, and mean.
I admire you for hanging up & being done. I’m sorry your former friend is drinking the kool-aid & disrespectful who you are as a person she’s known in lieu of what she’s programmed to “know” of the evil racist incompetent intergalactic villan Trump is described as by her MSN overlords & social media echo chamber.
With my “Friend,” I distanced in hurt but kept interacting during holidays until three years ago when another friend contacted me about the lies my “Friend” inexplicably made up about me. We compared notes & discovered the lies; neither remain in contact with former “Friend,” who as it turns out has reached out via cowardly text a few times since, but I’ve 100% ghosted her. Done. Painful because I was like family & very close to her kids, but necessary because its not a friendship if one is nice to your face but tells others you are a conservative hater Bushitler voter. Her addict youngest adult kid & now grandkids live with her as do her inlaws; still miss her mother-in-law’s fresh homemade Christmas tamales.
This country has been cursed by the Bush family.
