His rant wasn’t unhinged at all.

He caught someone wearing a mask. He believes, as I do, that in order to keep everyone healthy we have our individual responsibilities.

He mentions this industry.. and that project.. keeps thousands of people employed. It does.

If it or other projects get shut down it’s the end of the line for a lot of people.

While he went about it wrong, I do agree.

I’ve been watching a few episodes at a time.

I wouldn’t call that a meltdown.

Don’t need more popcorn, but I do need my ears washed out with soap. Lye soap. What a primadona!

He wont fire them. I personally recognize “some” of the crew and they are Scientologists. The midget was just having a bad day. I’ve been on set thousands of times, and saw meltdowns and nuclear hissy fits that crews already shrug it off. Why? They go into their trailers to cool off and they’re still getting paid on-set.

Yep. They know they work with prima donna drama queens. Some can probably even turn on the tears, to heighten the screamer’s satisfaction.

That puts it into context.

Now I can say it, Cruise has lost his mind.

Some of the new actors on WB are some of the worst. Meeting the parents, I know where they got this attitude from. On-set parents, a good number of them, are just assholes.

Yeah.
But NOTHING will ever beat this Paul Anka rant.
Ever.

The duration, the awkwardness, THE QUOTES!

When he moves, he slices like a f’ing hammer.

And that’s just the way it is.

'The seventh “Mission: Impossible” was one of the first movies to shut down production because of the coronavirus when it abandoned filming in Venice, Italy, in February.

Production resumed in September, with filming in Italy, Norway and London.'

Dec 14, AP, Italy on Sunday eclipsed Britain to become the nation with the worst official coronavirus death toll in Europe.

Personally, I think traveling to Italy and Britain is very weckless and dangerous at this time. No matter what precautions you take.

In his defense, he’s clearly trying to keep the UK government from shutting down production due to covid violations. He sounds like he’s trying to keep people employed, and I don’t think this has anything to do with being a mask nazi or a covid true believer.

Not only is Cruise the star, he is also an Executive Producer, so he has some responsibility for the production of the movie above and beyond just being an actor.

Wow, when did this place turn into Karentown?

Tell me you’re not still afraid of this virus that, if you’re not already very sick and very old, poses almost no risk to you? If I haven’t already been exposed to the virus, give it to me tomorrow, please - all this obscene panic is as unseemly as it is destructive.

The only precautions I’d take in those countries would be to avoid Muslim knife-crime.
