My son was a Club DJ in College (midwestern College town) as a part time job, before all of the Clubs shut down. A Chinese National who owned a high end Used Car Dealership in his college town wanted him to “Throw Huge Parties” and he would invite all of the Chinese students.
I explained to him That both the used car Dealership and the proposed parties looked like Money laundering operations.
If Someone has a 3 year old Lambo or Mclaren or G-wagon for sale won’t blink twice if someone pays for it with a wad of Cash.
When the semester was over and we picked him up from the dorms every BMW and Mercedes Benz driven by an Asian had the Chinese car dealers sticker on the back.
I looked up their website and they had other dealerships in other college towns. Probably just me being R-word.
There’s one of those here in town but it’s run by Arabs, maybe front men for the Chinese?
