I see your point. However, an upgraded constitution that improves on our current version might forestall rot. For example, strong immigration enforcement, term limits on SCOTUS justices, senators and congressman are a great start, as are some sensible wording on balanced budgets/debt and the protection of the vote (e.g., voter ID and voting only on election day). Other improvements would be welcome and helpful.

Just curious... How would you possibly “upgrade” a Constitution many would consider the most brilliant ever conceived in human history, thanks to the infinite wisdom of our Founding Fathers?
