There are accountants who will write the script and tell you precisely how to take a million a year overseas, and hide enough of it to clear the $100k income credit for overseas jobs, and be ‘fake-legit’. Hunter may have gotten such a script and just plain screwed up....hiding tens of millions in ways to be caught later.
But I think the chief thing of interest here...it’s probably large capital money laundering (probably way more than $100-million a year).
If this were a tax issue...he’d just pay the fine, the taxes, and do 6 months of prison. If this is large scale money laundering...he could be talking about 10 years of prison. Big difference on what the investigation is centered upon.
I'm thinking that a lot of that money, most of it, went to pay off a whole bunch of Democrats (and Republicans), and that's why so many people do NOT want a serious investigation finding out where it all went.
