The story they’re going with now is that SOME of the workers (the envelope cutters) were sent home, and the rest of the poll watchers mistakenly thought everyone was being sent home. The point being that the poll watchers weren’t actually told to go home, they just did accidentally. They are blaming the GOP watchers for being stupid!

My question is that if your people are leaving the room, why wouldn’t you tell them to stay? And, once they are gone, why would you keep counting if you knew the poll watchers weren’t there?

I’m assuming, of course, the counters were acting aboveboard. /sarc

I don’t see how you can refute this point. The poll watchers were sent home in multiple states at almost the same time. It was a BIG deal at the time. We all saw it happen.

“once they [poll watchers] are gone, why would you keep counting if you knew the poll watchers weren’t there?”

EXACTLY RIGHT! An HONEST election crew supervisor would have said “STOP COUNTING — we have to wait for the poll watchers to get back here.”

That alone screams DISHONEST ELECTION.
