GOP Lawmakers Demand Bill Barr Perform A Forensic Audit on the Election – ‘This is THEE Hill to Die On’

Representatives Andy Biggs (R-AZ), Jody Hice (R-GA), and members of the House Freedom Caucus are calling on Attorney General William Barr to conduct a forensic audit of the 2020 election.

Biggs accused Barr of being “missing in action” after suggesting a request had been made a month ago that he conduct an investigation into allegations of voter fraud.

“I feel that [Barr] is missing in action,” accused Biggs. “The reality is that he is capable, he’s qualified and he’s got a department of capable, qualified individuals. We need them in action from about a month ago. We are running out of time. He needs to get them going.”

The Republican lawmakers’ demands for a forensic audit of the election come on the same day that President Trump’s legal team released a video of what they claim are poll workers pulling out ‘suitcases’ of ballots in Georgia.

Volunteer attorney Jackie Pick accused poll workers in the video of counting those same ballots after witnesses had been cleared from the room.

The video’s context has been disputed, but Hice found it to be compelling enough to call out the Department of Justice.

At Thursday’s press conference, Rep. Randy Weber (R-TX) indicated just how important accountability in the election is for the American people.

“What’s he [Barr] actually doing?” he asked. “Why are election materials and voting machines not being gathered and preserved for investigation?”

“This is not A hill to die on, this is THEE hill to die on,” Weber concluded.

The DOJ and FBI is where all evidence goes to die, then cremated in then dumped in the middle of the ocean.

Can Trump just fire Barr and put in someone with integrity and competence?

He absolutely can. He could appoint Powell, Giuliani, or Mark Levin as acting AG. But he won't.

He has a strange reluctance to fire swampy obstructionists. It's like he's stumbling around with a kick-me sign taped to his back.

When he *does* finally fire a swampster, he appoints the next one in line to replace them.

Why even bother to ask him or his cronies to do anything unless they want a dead end that amounts to nothing and takes years.

Evidence could fall out of the sky and hit him on the head and he'll say there's nothing to it.

I wouldn't beg him for anything. It's crystal clear that he has been bought.

He's totally corrupt and those asking him to do something must be mentally challenged or want it to go down a dead end road that takes years.

Did those lawmakers get elected by Dominion voting machines and need it to be stalled for years with nothing happening as usual?
