There are plenty more who haven’t spoken up that will vote for amnesty.
Once that is done we will never win another election.

“There are plenty more who haven’t spoken up that will vote for amnesty.”

I don’t know that, and I’m not as sure about that, as it will sink their careers, and they know it. The last time they had a chance to do the same was on Trump’s impeachment - it was a PERFECT opportunity to get rid of the man most of them despised - Trump. I’m sure they talked it, but the ONLY person willing to do that, and knowing it would never pass, was Romney.

“Once that is done we will never win another election.”

Yes and no. If all 30M plus turn into voters, you’re right - future elections are a done deal. But who says it will be the 30M plus, when the extra votes they would need to pass it haven’t even spoken up on the issue? Maybe some of those votes come at a price, if at all. Assuming they even get the 30M, maybe the price will be at least a 10 year wait until they can vote, maybe have to learn English first. Since we don’t know anything at this point, making predictions about exactly what will get enough Republicans votes is whistling in the wind.

Now, one thing is for sure. Those 30M plus WILL be voting in 2022 and beyond if the Dems win - they’ve already promised that!

So, again, these Senate elections really do matter.
