The opinion writers at Snopes, and opinions are what they deal in, engage in more sophistry than the combined Sociology faculties of the Ivy League. Generally their arguments boil down to the statement that the disputed article is FALSE because it is “unproven”. As we all know absnce of proof is not proof of absence but even more importantly the Snopes writers fail to lay out what would constitute proof in their jaundiced eyes.

All Snopes articles need to be read carefully and this one is no exception because they do not in fact say that the vaccine is either safe or does not or cannot cause sterility. In fact the “falseness” in the article consists entirely of the statement that Dr. Michael Yeadon (whose title they refuse to use since it would lend credibility to his statement, was “head of Pfizer research”. It is true that Dr. Yeardon is not currently head of Phizer Research and it is probably also true that nobody holds that exact title. Dr. Yeardon has not worked for Phizer since 2011 but when he did work there is title was vice president and chief scientist for allergy and respiratory. BTW that title sounds very similar to Dr Fauci’s title at the CDC.

So how has Snope’s enlightened us about the safety of the Phizer vaccine? They told us that the obviously well qualified critic of the safety precautions being taken with the vaccine has a disputed title therefore he should be ignored. Great work Snopes. You have helped convince a bunch of semi-literates that because the moon is not made out of green cheese it is perfectly safe to lick a toilet bowl.
