Because there is no rioting in the streets you think there is a 99.9% compliance to the shut downs?

I see plenty of people simply ignoring the mask mandates and I see an ever increasing number of shut down businesses defying the order. These numbers will increase at an ever increasing rate and the State and local governments will be powerless to do anything.

The politicians involved will look like fools and petty tyrants and will even more have ridicule heaped upon them and if there is one thing hated by blowhard politicians it is to be ridiculed.

Masks are nothing. Wearing them may do nothing, but they do not represent tyranny in any way, shape or form. Defying business shutdowns is a different story, but with some exceptions that also nothing. There's no spread in retail businesses. There is spread at home, if it's in your house you will get it.

There was spread at nursing homes, meat packing plants, bars, a few gyms, some restaurants, some churches (singing without masks), and some offices with lots of talking at close quarters (e.g call centers). Those have mostly been controlled without tyranny.

The spread at all of those places can be and was controlled rather easily without tyranny. Unless you think restricting or shutting down bars is tyranny.
