Considering the ramifications of what Barr appears to have said, I don’t see a reaction from Trump that makes me believe the optics of it all.
What it appears to be, is a proper distancing of powers, so there cannot be a claim of bias/collusion/framing the opposition.

Just my gut feel: nothing is going on here. Fat Sessions and the rest of the beltway sewer rats are on vacation until the steal is complete. The opposition will claim bias and murder regardless of what Trump does.

I duno- the left commit fraud in broad daylight, thumb their noses at the law, at the US citizens, at the FI (who won’t prosecute them anyways), and we’re worried about optics of an issue? How it “might look IF we were to investigate strongly”?
As one of the articles on FR stated yesterday- “We must stop worrying how something looks, and simply steam forward doing the right thing”
The left have engaged in massive campaign of Psyops against the right, and they have the right so afraid to ‘appear to be’ something that they are not, that they become too paralyzed to act-
