Not sure if this matters to anyone but just poking around Twit for commentary from personalities who, throughout this entire debacle have remained pretty calm and collected, such as Raheem Kassam (Warroom with Steve Bannon), and he’s not concerned with the press release:

Someone in the Twitter thread also mentioned that making such a statement that Sidney is operating independently is because she is likely going after some Republicans, which is something Trump’s official legal team cannot do. I’m not a legal expert, so I don’t know if that’s true or not.
