We have to hope that the server has records of the data coming in from America (as well as that going out to America, already presumably available in the US).
If the white hats have it, I’m at a loss for why they wouldn’t post the whole thing on the Internet. What about it is presumptively against the national interest for the world at large to be able to examine????
There is no reason to suppose that anything on that server is a secret to any hostile power.I see no reason why the entire contents of the server shouldn’t be dumped to the web for all the world to see.
If it’s innocent, we would know - and deal with - it.
If not, the world would know that.
