Specifying a type of anything other than some type of integer for counting votes is a fundamental violation of basic computer principles. Even an integer for 32 bits is way sufficient, even a signed integer. The max value foe the 32 bit integer in Java is 2147483647.
There are other forms of whole-number variable types such as the BigDecimal type in Java that would be suitable.
The only reason someone would specify floating point for vote counts would be to commit some type of fraud.
That’s true, in so far as it goes, but then you get to remedy. They’re not going to jump straight from a fishing if fraud to recertifying the election for Trump. Was there enough fraud to flip the fault? Can it get demonstrated that all the fraud went against Trump? (Can’t imagine why you’d come fraud on opposing corrections at the same time but he needs to prove injury) Unless we just say, the election was tainted, we have to do a do over. But to make Trump while workout a new election, I think he’s going to have to prove those other items (which I think he can do)
