As a side note I played against Hamtramck basketball team when I wa in 10th grade at LPHS. We beat them at their place. It was a major upset 50-48. They had Rudy Tomjanovich the all-American and the great Brisker brothers as all-state guards on the team. The fans were so upset that they threw bricks on our bus on the drive home from freeway over-passes. I’m sure they all remember that game in 1966.
