You pick the battlefield to win. You don’t pick a battlefield that will lose and rationalize losing because someday you may come back to and will be more familiar with it.
I’ll encourage an enemy to do that every time. Including the next time.
You fight the war with the army you have — which is legislative majorities in the three critical states. Those legislators won’t rubber stamp anything, but if you make a case that leads to doubt, then you win.
You damn sure don’t go somewhere that the burden of proof is on you. Go somewhere that creating only doubt, not certainty, leads to victory.
Victory is the goal. Not acting nice.
You want to play a football game in a baseball stadium because you like the lights better.
