It’s not the one used in 2020 for fraud. It’s an older video.

Age of the video, unknown to me, too.

But it was instructive, in how vulnerable some voting devices may be.

Years ago in the midwest, the town where I lived, used a combination:

- electronic votes, recorded
- paper tape printout that you could watch

The votes had to match.

Today, I have a Dominion “UG-RTR-UserGuide-5-11-CO” in hand, and it is typical for the modern computer era, meaning:

More and more capabilities and tricks, that are beyond the basic necessity of that old machine we used for many years.

I found an Excel workbook at:

https://www.sos.state.co.us/pubs/elections/VotingSystems/DVS-DemocracySuite511/requirementsMatrix.xlsx

Re “DVS-DemocracySuite511”

Within the workbook (”requirementsMatrix.xlsx”):

Worksheet “Statistics”

Cell J1:

The voting systems rules referenced are current as of August 22, 2018

Worksheet “Security”

Cell B77:

Voting systems that use public telecommunications networks shall implement protections against external threats to which commercial products used in the system may be susceptible.

Cell B79:

Voting systems that use public telecommunications networks shall provide system documentation that clearly identifies all COTS hardware and software products and communications services used in the development and/or operation of the voting system, including:

Cell B80:

Operating systems.

Cell B81:

Communications routers.

Cell B82:

Modem drivers.

Cell B83:

Dial-up networking software.

Cell B84:

Such documentation shall identify the name, vendor, and version used for each such component.

The above, worksheet “Security” info, is under a sub-section entitled:

“Telecommunications and Data Transmission”

Safe to say, that networking some Dominion devices, can occur.

Yet, also in the “Security” worksheet:

Cell D153:

The voting system provider must use a virus protection/prevention application on the election management server(s)/workstations which must be capable of manual updates without the use of direct connection to the internet.
