Sorry, but that is a massive fail.
The originating program, in the vote counting machine, can alter the outgoing numbers easily. The receiving program (on the tabulating machine) would recognize the (previously altered) return count as valid.
Change either the receiving or sending end, and an “acknowledged” count is not fraudulent.

Did you even watch the video? The guy did not talk about the originating machine changing the numbers. He spoke of scorecard intercepting the data, changing it and sending it on to it’s destination
I think you’re arguing with someone that’s anti-Trump, and that’s always an uphill battle.
