OK being from Mass I can hear the Dems saying “That’s not proof”, so my question is what was the highest single candidate count in previous elections ? The number here seems very high.
And with places such as Michigan and Georgia with the US Senate hinged on one or two Senators to control all three branches of government, why would a “voter” just choose a presidential candidate? Doesn’t pass the smell test.
I admit library board and drain commissioner unopposed candidates have fewer vote totals, but US Senator?
