I am a big DeSantis fan. He is a fighter and he might be the most Trump-like Governor in the country. He is really kicking butt in Florida and he calls them on their nonsense.
Out of the “politicians” he is in my top-tier. I do not know enough about Noem, but what I have seen I really like.
One thing to watch for is going to be who the GOPe puts up. I think Nikki Haley is going to be the choice of the GOPe.
Noem would be a good VP, but DeSantis will be the most battle-tested of the two.
