Video: Arizona Voters Force Election Officer To Admit That Sharpies Will Impact The Vote – New Election Laws Say Sharpies Have No Impact On The Vote

The result of the election is still unclear today with several key swing states still in play including Arizona, where Joe Biden’s comfortable lead over Trump shrank overnight, wreaking havoc on the results and prompting a posse of armed Trump voters to descend on counting centers.

As tensions flared in Arizona overnight, armed pro-Trump protesters descended on a counting center in Maricopa County, after Biden’s commanding 200,000-vote lead was slashed to just 68,000 as ballots continued being tallied.

They faced off with police and security outside the counting center, chanting that every vote should be counted with the result in the balance. At least one person made it inside, forcing the center to close with staff locked in.

Biden has 264 of the 270 electoral college votes he needs to claim the White House currently. That number includes Arizona, which Fox News and the Associated Press called for him early on Wednesday despite votes still being counted. To win now, he must keep that lead and win either Nevada, Georgia, North Carolina or Pennsylvania, all of which remain undecided.

Another video footage from outside the Maricopa count center on Wednesday showed angry voters who forced an election voter to admit that sharpies have an impact on the vote even do new state laws and election officials say othervise.

There has been quite a bit of speculation on whether voters should have used Sharpies to cast their ballots in Maricopa County.

Social media posts being circulated in the Phoenix area are saying that if anyone used a Sharpie to fill out their ballot, their votes could be tossed.

RJ reported that received several messages on Election Day and into Wednesday that many polling places offered Sharpies to those voting in person. However, there were reports that some Sharpie-filled ballots were not counted, while others who used ballpoint pen had no issues.

To set the record straight, Right Journalism spoke to Erika Flores, spokesperson for the Maricopa County Elections Department.

Flores said voters can use one of three types of writing utensils to cast their ballots:

Black pen Blue pen Sharpie

You read that correctly. Sharpies are allowed. That’s because the new tabulation equipment counts votes in a such a way that bleed-throughs are not a problem.

Not only are Sharpies accepted when filling out a ballot in Maricopa County, but they are also preferred. That’s because Sharpies have the fastest drying ink.

The one color you do need to worry about is red ink. The tabulation equipment can’t read red ink.

Election judges are now instructing voters to dab the sharpie vertically once to prevent bleed through. Regardless, there have been no issues reading ballots filled out with Sharpies. Even if a Sharpie did create a large ink blot that made the ballot difficult to read, there is a process in which a judge reviews the ballot to determine the voter’s intent. The same process occurs if a voter circles or underlines the candidate.

Sharpies with the same ballot paper were used in the primaries too, but no issues were reported then, officials said.

Thanks for that. I would be happy if I could just see WHERE the ballots go after being stacked, checked etc. Why can’t we just see the machines? Votes don’t need to be visible - just let me see the machines!!

In Wake county, NC they gave everyone a free ink pen to mark their ballot. One nice thing they have here is that when the voter is done, he inserts his ballot into a scanner which immediately checks for anomalies and kicks it back out if a problem is found. The voter then has a chance to correct it.

Thanks good to know some try to do it right

Ballots are removed from the tabulator and saved with the tally in sealed bags for possible recount. Looks like the will be many either way.
In AZ i see it guaranteed, whoever wins the other party will demand recount.
All the system relies on Two man operation. Two representatives, each of one party do the job and sign.
ON every step. Problem arises if there is one party missing. The Detroit counting is, as I see example of typical fraud!
Second fraud method - they somehow provide fraudulent ballots and count them properly. That’s even more common. Unfortunately ballots are anonymous. Once fed to the machine, one cannot distinguish valid from fraudulent.

Mr Grijalva used to hold voting help parties - gathered all the infirm, elderly, minorities etc. Told them how to fill, gathered the ballots and then dropped them at the poling station, all by his people. If, despite all the “help” somebody filled it the “wrong” way, that ballot was discarded!
That’s Ballot harvesting!
It was outlawed in AZ, but there is no penalty!
Crazy.
Fontes actually came with an idea of correcting ballots - cross the mistake, fill in correction. He used in primaries, it was outlawed for the election. It would be super easy to correct few ballots during processing.
Mistakes could only be corrected by getting new ballot and starting from scratch!

Addendum.
IN AZ:
Mail in ballots, early voting ballots and privisionary votes go into envelopes and hold to processing. The envelopes are scanned, validated (signature), provisional ballots evaluated.
Then opened and fed to tabulators. (manually). If they are ok, it is OK. If there are problems (the tabulator complains) they correct them or whatever. If they are honest, that’s OK!
On election day only, voters actually feed the ballots to tabulators themselves and see if they are OK. If not they may get new ballot. SO I encourage people to do just that! Or they can drop in their mail in ballots on the last day. In case of provisional votes, they go into envelopes even on election day.

As far reporting order.
The “early” early vote and mail are actually processed before election (results kept secret until the polls are closed. ) Once the polls are closed, they are released instantly - that was the 39% vote Fox news made the call on.
Then the tabulator results are collected from the election day in person voting and added to tally.
Those are processed by now too. ( I am not sure if ALL, but substantially all)
What are now processing is the “late’ mail in and drops.
Eventually if it is close, they will address the provisional vote too. If it is not close, they do not even bother!

Due to circumstances I explained previously, the “early” early vote was skewed Dem. The in-person and “late” early vote are skewed rep.
That why Dems were leading and now they are not!
Will see what they come out with!
ANyway there will be a mess!
Pray!
