But I remember to this day the night-after-night lengthy reports on the Watergate break-in and its aftermath on CBS News and the other nightly news broadcasts. Interviews, diagrams, charts and graphs, timelines, pictures of leaked reports from Congress, on and on and on. A complex story too, but CBS was willing to devote most if not all of their nightly news show to explaining every detail to the public. They did this every night for about two years, without letup. That was in 1973 and '74.
My wife and I (me?) were talking about the drip drip drip of information during Watergate. The press could run with this and eventually there would be answers. If Biden were a right leaning pol we would already have had the answers. We all know how it works with these proggs.
